The local waters are home to several species of sharks, including the Caribbean reef shark (Carcharhinus perezi) and the Nurse shark (Ginglymostoma cirratum). You may also encounter various species of moray eels, such as the green moray eel, spotted moray eel, or the chain moray eel.
