When you want to trade fins for walking shoes, Morne Mazeau is about 5 miles away by road, with the 613-metre summit nearby. Bain de Souffre de Sofaïa is around 11 miles away by road. Pointe-à-Pitre Le Raizet Airport is about 21 miles away by road.

For two, a One-Bedroom House keeps things straightforward: a private home rather than a hotel room, with a kitchen, dining area, seating area and private bathroom. The larger houses make more sense for a family or a group of divers travelling together. The Four-Bedroom House gives a bigger party room to spread out, while the Two-Bedroom House sits between a couples' base and a full group arrangement. The accommodation is on the ground floor, with a private entrance, wardrobe space and a drying rack for clothing.

Nights are equipped for warm Caribbean weather with a fan and mosquito net. Kitchens include a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, coffee machine, kitchenware and washing machine, while the living areas add a sofa and dining space. Garden views, terraces and outdoor furniture keep the useful part of the day outside; a barbecue is there when the appetite arrives before the inclination to find a restaurant.

This is a kitchen-and-barbecue sort of stay rather than a restaurant-led one.
