Whether you are looking for the house reef at Ellaidhoo or the deeper thilas of the surrounding atolls, the centres are positioned to access some of the most diverse marine environments in the region. The operation covers the Ari, Meemu, and Vaavu atolls, offering a range of diving styles from shallow reef flats to steep walls.

The centre is led by Alfons Straub, who has been diving in the Maldives for over 35 years. This long-term presence ensures that the team understands the seasonal shifts and local conditions of the various atolls they operate in.

For those choosing to hire kit, the centre provides professional equipment including SeaQuest BCDs, Aqualung regulators, and Suunto dive computers. Full rental sets are available, including 3mm wetsuits, masks, snorkels, fins, and weight belts.

Beyond standard diving kit, the centre also stocks underwater cameras, torches for night dives, and various other essential accessories. On-site facilities include dedicated areas for rinsing equipment and preparing for the day's dives.

The atolls are home to a vast array of pelagics. You can regularly encounter dolphins, sea turtles, and various species of sharks, including whitetip reef sharks and grey reef sharks. Larger visitors such as manta rays and whale sharks are also present in the area.

On the reefs, you will find a high density of fish, including Napoleon wrasse, eagle rays, and yellow trumpetfish. Schools of various fish species frequently pass over the walls and through the canyons.

Macro life and smaller inhabitants add significant interest to the dives, with sightings of octopus and various eels. The reef structure is supported by diverse corals and anemones that provide habitat for the resident marine life.
