Lebay Beach Hotel is in Larnaka, Cyprus, on Mesopotamias in Oroklini, along the Dhekelia–Larnaca road. The hotel is directly on a golden-sand beach, with sun loungers and parasols ready by the shore. Shops and bars are within a short walk, while a bus stop is right outside the property.

Larnaka city centre is around a 15-minute drive away. Finikoudes Beach and its promenade are about 4 miles away, the Medieval Castle and Saint Lazarus Square are roughly 4 miles away, and Larnaca Salt Lake is about 6 miles away. Larnaca International Airport is around 6 miles from the hotel, so the journey from the aircraft to the sea is a relatively short one.

The practical choice is between an inland or sea-facing outlook. The sea-view rooms give you the Mediterranean from your furnished balcony, while the inland option keeps things simpler for nights when the view matters less than having somewhere comfortable to sleep. Deluxe rooms add a little more room to manoeuvre for two, and the larger suites make more sense when you want separate space or are travelling as a small family.

Every room is air-conditioned and soundproofed, which matters when the Cypriot heat has done its work and you want proper recovery rather than a night spent listening to the corridor. A minibar, kettle, tea and coffee facilities, extra-long beds, a wardrobe and free Wi-Fi cover the useful basics. There is no need to make the evening revolve around a taxi: light dishes and finger food are served through the day at the Lobby Bar, alongside drinks and live music every night.

The second bar, 180 Pool Bar, sits beside the pool and deals in hot and cold drinks, cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, plus light bites. Poolside waiter service is available, and 24-hour room service gives you a useful fallback when the sensible plan is an early night.

The infinity pool is the obvious place to settle when you want water without sand. Complimentary loungers, poolside waiter service and four deluxe cabanas give you room to spend the afternoon horizontally, with the sea still doing most of the scenery work. Pool and beach towels are available.

The beach is directly in front of the hotel, so moving from the pool to the shore involves no expedition and very little footwear. A sun terrace and garden add quieter places to sit, while the furnished balconies give you another option when you want privacy rather than another communal lounger.

For something more energetic, the fitness centre is fully equipped with modern machines and functional training equipment. A personal trainer is also available. Once the useful exertion is over, the shared lounge and TV area offer a less ambitious way to spend the evening.

Larnaca International Airport is around 6 miles away, and car hire is available through the hotel. Free public parking is provided on site, although spaces cannot be reserved. A bus stop outside the property gives you another way into Larnaka, while the 24-hour front desk, concierge service, luggage storage and private check-in and check-out help keep arrival and departure manageable.
