The complex opened in 2008 and combines private accommodation with shared outdoor space, including a garden, pool and sun terrace. You can keep the evening simple: shower, sit outside, sort out dinner and let the day wind down without needing to turn the whole operation into an expedition.

English, Greek and Russian are spoken by the host team. For a diving holiday, that practical point matters more than another polished slogan.

You are in Pernera, Protaras, on the south-east coast of Cyprus. Marilita Beach is within 200 metres, and the sandy shore is about a six-minute walk away. Potami Bay Beach is roughly 0.4 miles away on foot, while Polyxenia Beach is about 0.6 miles away; Pernera Beach is around 0.7 miles away.

Restaurants, pubs, bars, supermarkets and convenience shops are all within a short walk, so you can pick up essentials or find dinner without automatically reaching for car keys. Protaras is about 2 miles away, and Fig Tree Bay around 2.8 miles.

For a change of scenery, Protaras Ocean Aquarium is about 2.6 miles away and Cavo Greco National Forest Park around 4.5 miles. Larnaca International Airport is approximately 32 miles by road, with a taxi journey of about 40 minutes.

Studios are the compact choice for two, with double-bed options available, while a deluxe studio can also include a sofa bed.

Air conditioning helps with recovery in hot weather, while a fan gives you another way to keep air moving at night. A mosquito net, soundproofing, a private entrance, balcony or patio and garden or pool views all add useful detail to the night-time setup. There is also a flat-screen TV with DVD player, a safe, hairdryer and private bathroom. Washing machines and tumble dryers are available, which is handy when salt, dust and holiday laundry begin to form their own ecosystem.

This is a self-catering base, so the kitchen is the main dining arrangement rather than a background extra. You have a dining table, cooking equipment and a refrigerator in the accommodation, giving you the freedom to make breakfast at your own pace or put together a late meal when a full restaurant outing feels like unnecessary admin.

On site, a snack bar and pool bar cover the informal end of the day, while the outdoor areas include dining space, a picnic area and barbecue facilities. There is no need to turn every meal into a formal event; sometimes a cold drink, something quick to eat and a chair in the open air are exactly the correct level of ambition.

For food beyond the complex, Evalena is about half a mile away. Costa Coffee is roughly 0.3 miles away, and Diamonds Showbar Protaras around 0.7 miles. The surrounding Pernera area gives you the choice of walking out for dinner or staying in and using the kitchen.

The outdoor pool and sun terrace are the obvious places for a low-effort afternoon. Sun umbrellas, outdoor furniture, a garden and private terraces or balconies let you choose between a few lengths, a book in the shade or simply remaining horizontal until the light changes. Villas with private pools add a more secluded option for families or groups.

The nearby beach gives you another easy change of scene, with golden sand, clear water and water sports available in the surrounding area. For something away from the shoreline, cultural excursions are available, while the Ocean Aquarium and Cavo Greco National Forest Park give you two straightforward outings by car. Live sports broadcasts are also available on site, should the evening require a chair, a screen and no further decisions.

Check-in runs from 14:00 to midnight and check-out is by 11:00. If your arrival is later, arrange it with the property in advance. You will need photo identification and the payment card used for the booking at check-in, and cash is not accepted. Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 08:00, smoking is not allowed and parties or events are not permitted.

Free private parking is available on site, and Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Airport transfers from Larnaca are available as a paid service, and a shuttle service can also be arranged through the property. Car hire is available as well, although the nearby beaches, shops and restaurants mean you can manage plenty without a vehicle.

Children of any age are welcome. Cots can be requested for children aged between 0 and 2, while extra beds are not available. The accommodation includes family-sized options, from two-bedroom apartments to villas sleeping larger groups, so check the specific unit carefully rather than assuming every apartment has the same layout.
