Dwejra Divers

Dwejra Divers is a long-standing fixture in the Gozitan diving scene, having been established in 1990 by the late Micheal Mizzi. Today, the centre is managed by his son, Jacob Mizzi, maintaining a deep connection to the local waters.

The centre is positioned in an ideal location, situated only a few metres from the Inland Sea at Dwejra. This proximity allows for easy access to some of the most distinctive marine environments on the island, ranging from sheltered lagoons to open Mediterranean reefs.

The centre operates with a team of certified instructors and dive guides sourced from across Malta and Gozo. This professional network ensures a high level of expertise for all types of diving, from recreational to technical.

Safety and environmental preservation are the core pillars of their operation. The team maintains a strict policy against the collection of marine specimens to ensure the local ecosystem remains protected for future generations.

The training programme is comprehensive, catering to divers at every stage of their progression. You can begin your journey with Open Water Diver training or progress through to Advanced Diver certifications.

For those looking to move beyond recreational limits, the centre also offers Technical diving courses, providing the skills necessary for more complex underwater environments.

The centre utilises a semi-rigid boat for dive trips, which is operated by a dedicated skipper. This setup is designed to provide efficient access to the various dive sites around the Gozitan coastline.

Dwejra Divers provides a full range of equipment for hire, covering all the essentials required for a successful dive. Whether you are travelling light or need a complete rig, you can find the necessary kit on-site.

Beyond equipment, the centre can assist with wider logistics, including car rentals and organised accommodation in apartments, guesthouses, hotels, or rural farmhouses. They can also arrange airport transfers from Malta International Airport (MIA) via local transport companies upon request.
