Nautic Team Gozo

Located in Marsalforn, Nautic Team Gozo has been a fixture of the local diving community since 1994. The centre operates with a focus on professional, small-scale instruction, moving away from the high-volume tourism often seen in the Mediterranean to provide a more tailored experience.

The centre is highly qualified, serving as an instructor training facility with affiliations to CMAS, SDI, and TDI. This high level of accreditation means you can progress from your very first breath underwater through to professional instructor qualifications within the same team.

The team consists of four professional instructors who manage all aspects of training and guiding. They operate with a maximum ratio of five divers per guide, ensuring that even in more challenging environments, you receive individual attention.

Instruction is conducted in both English and German, making it accessible for a wide range of divers. The centre is also dedicated to inclusion, offering specific support and guidance for divers with disabilities or those with reduced mobility.

For those travelling with family, the centre offers a practical service by providing childcare for children who are able to look after themselves while their parents are underwater.

As an instructor training centre, the curriculum is extensive. You can begin your journey with basic courses and progress through the full range of SDI and TDI certifications, including technical diving modules.

The training catalogue includes CMAS programmes, cave diving through i.a.c., and specialised training for children. For those looking to move into the professional sphere, the centre offers i.a.c. Instructor Training.

The centre features an on-site shop where you can find spare parts and equipment for minor repairs. For those not travelling with their own full kit, a range of equipment is available for hire.

Nitrox is available for all divers, with EAN 28 provided as standard for dives up to 40 metres. This allows for extended bottom times and more efficient nitrogen loading management during your excursions.

The local marine life is diverse, particularly around the protected areas of the island. In the sheltered bays, you will frequently encounter moray eels and various species of octopus.

Smaller residents of the reef include a variety of small fish that inhabit the crevices of the rock and the sandy bottom. These are often found near the cave entrances and the reef flat.
