The room choice is mainly about how many people need to fit in, not about chasing resort-style categories. For two, a Double Room keeps the arrangement uncomplicated. For three, the Budget Triple Room uses one double bed and one single bed; it is a compact solution, so it suits a group that values location over sprawling floor space. The Quadruple Room adds a bunk bed to the double bed and is the practical choice when four people are sharing.

The beach is close enough for a swim, a stroll or a spell doing absolutely nothing, which is sometimes the most ambitious plan after a full day outside. The guesthouse's coastal position also puts the village's cafés and waterfront within easy reach.

When you want to explore rather than simply sit, the available options include electric-bike tours, quad-bike tours and boat excursions. Gozo's cultural and archaeological sites give you a reason to leave the shoreline, while wine tasting offers a gentler alternative to anything involving an engine or a saddle.

Cittadella, the Gharb Folklore Museum and San Raflu Lake are among the nearby places to visit. The Ghadira Nature Reserve is farther away, around 11 miles by road. You can use Lantern as a base for those outings, then return to the air-conditioned restaurant or your room without needing to relocate for every change of scenery.

Check-in runs from 14:30 to 23:30, and check-out is from 09:30 to 10:30. There is no age requirement for check-in. Payment is by cash, and cancellation and prepayment rules depend on the accommodation selected, so check the conditions attached to your room before confirming.

The bus stop outside the property serves the route to Mgarr ferry terminal and Victoria, making the location useful if you are moving around Gozo without a car. Car hire is available through the property. Malta International Airport is around 25 miles away by road, with the transfer then continuing to Gozo.
