Saita Diving

Located at the Moll de la Vela in the Zona Fòrum area of Barcelona, Saita Diving Club operates as a non-profit association. Unlike many commercial dive centres, the club reinvests its proceeds into social and environmental missions, fostering a community-focused atmosphere for all divers.

The centre is affiliated with the Federació Catalana d’Activitats Subaquàtiques (FECDAS), meaning all certifications follow the international CMAS standards. This provides a structured and recognised pathway for those looking to progress through the various star levels of diving.

The club is built around a mission of 'Buceo inclusivo' (inclusive diving). They organise specific activities and diving camps designed for young people facing social exclusion and for individuals with functional diversities, ensuring that the underwater world is accessible to everyone.

Training is available for all levels, from initial discovery dives through to professional development. The club's structure allows for a wide range of specialisations, including emergency response training such as Basic Life Support and Oxygen Administration.

The training catalogue is extensive, covering the full CMAS progression. You can begin with Open Water Diver and move through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster levels.

Specialisation courses are a core part of the club's offering. These include Nitrox, Dry Suit diving, and Orientation. For those looking to enhance their safety skills, the centre provides Basic Life Support and Oxygen Administration training. They also offer adaptive diving programmes and refresher courses for those returning to the water.

For those who prefer not to carry their own kit, the centre provides a full range of equipment for hire. This includes regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, fins, masks, and torches for night diving.

Nitrox is available on-site for divers looking to extend their bottom time. The club also provides essential safety equipment, including oxygen for dive emergencies.
