BLANES~SUB - Diving Center

Blanes-Sub is a long-standing dive centre situated in the Port of Blanes, serving as a gateway to the diverse underwater landscapes of the Costa Brava. Having operated for over 30 years, the centre has built a reputation for professional standards and deep local knowledge of the Mediterranean seabed.

The centre provides a range of activities, from introductory sea baptisms for those aged 8 and over to advanced training and daily boat-based excursions. Whether you are looking to explore the rocky reefs or participate in a guided night dive, the team's experience is evident in their structured approach to every outing.

The team at Blanes-Sub is comprised of professional instructors affiliated with PADI, SSI, and CMAS. This multi-agency accreditation ensures that divers from various backgrounds can find suitable training and certification paths.

A key priority for the centre is safety and individual attention, which they manage by maintaining small group sizes. They operate with a ratio of one guide per diver, ensuring that every member of your buddy pair receives the necessary support and supervision throughout the dive.

Blanes-Sub offers a comprehensive training programme through PADI, SSI, and CMAS. Beginners can start with an Open Water Diver course, while those looking to expand their skills can progress through the Advanced Open Water Diver syllabus.

Daily diving is conducted via boat, with several sites in the area specifically designed for vessel access. These trips allow you to reach deeper offshore locations that are unavailable from the shore, providing a variety of environments ranging from shallow reefs to deeper walls.

The centre provides full equipment hire for those not travelling with their own kit, including wetsuits, regulators, and fins. For night dives, torches are available to ensure you can navigate the darker habitats effectively.

All essential equipment is provided as part of the service, making it a straightforward option for divers who prefer not to transport heavy cylinders or BCDs between locations.

The diving area offers a mix of boat-access sites and shore-based entries. While many sites are reached by vessel to access deeper structures, others like La Seca and Els 3 Arcs are easily accessible from the beach for shore diving.
