Dive & Dive

Dive & Dive is a well-established PADI 5 Star IDC Centre situated in the heart of Calpe, Alicante. Based within the Real Club Náutico de Calpe, the centre benefits from a prime location with boats moored directly at the facility, allowing for efficient departures and easy access to the water.

The area is defined by the presence of the Peñón de Ifach, a massive limestone outcrop that creates a unique underwater landscape. With nearly 300 days of sunshine per year, the region offers reliable conditions for both recreational and technical diving throughout much of the year.

The team is comprised of experienced, professional instructors who specialise in a broad spectrum of diving, from introductory experiences to high-level technical training. They are a multilingual group, capable of conducting courses and guiding dives in English, French, Russian, and Spanish.

With over 20 years of experience and more than 11,000 divers trained, the centre operates as an Instructor Development Centre (IDC). This status ensures a high standard of instruction for those looking to progress through the PADI professional ranks.

Environmental stewardship is a core part of their operation. The centre actively participates in marine conservation efforts, including plastic-free initiatives and collaborations with organisations such as Gravity Wave and Sanamares.

The training programme is comprehensive, covering the entire PADI progression. This includes Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, and Rescue Diver, as well as the full range of PADI Specialties.

For technical divers, the centre offers an extensive curriculum. You can train in Tec Basics, Tec 40, Tec 45, and Tec 50, as well as advanced Trimix courses including Trimix 65 and Trimix 90. The centre is also equipped to train DSAT Gas Blenders and PADI Technical Instructors.

Professional development is a key focus, with Divemaster and PADI Instructor courses available. For those interested in breath-hold diving, PADI Freediver courses are also part of the curriculum.

The fleet consists of three vessels designed for different diving needs. The Venus, a spacious fibre trimaran, offers a stable and comfortable platform for divers, equipped with paddle boards for surface use.

For quicker transits to specific sites, the centre also operates two modern, fast semi-rigid inflatable boats (RIBs). Nitrox is available for use on the boats, supporting divers looking to extend their bottom times.

The centre is equipped with high-quality kit from leading brands for those wishing to hire a full set. For those who prefer to bring their own equipment, individual items such as masks, snorkels, fins, and wetsuits are also available for hire.

On-site facilities at the Real Club Náutico include dedicated changing rooms, showers, and personal lockers to store your belongings. There are also rinsing pools available to ensure your kit is properly cleaned after every dive. For those requiring specific items, dive computers and torches can be rented separately.

The diving environment around Calpe is shaped by the limestone structures of the Peñón de Ifach. While the area is known for its sunshine, divers should be aware of local conditions when planning trips to the deeper walls or the more exposed areas around the headland.
