English is spoken by the hotel team, alongside Spanish, so you can deal with the practicalities without resorting to underwater hand signals at reception. The immediate setting is coastal, but you are not cut off from the island. Sant Josep is around a ten-minute drive away, and Ibiza town is around five minutes away according to the hotel information. Nearby dining includes La Mesa Escondida - Cocina Mediterránea, about 300 metres away, while Restaurant El Carmen is around 2.3 miles away on foot.

For a change from the coves, Torre del Pirata is about 2.9 miles away by car, and Sa Talaiassa is around 4.3 miles away on foot or 7 miles by car. Ibiza Airport is about 12 miles away, with a driving time of roughly 25 minutes.

The room choice is mainly about how much space you want around the dive bags and whether the view matters. The Studio with Sea View and the Duplex Suite suit two adults who want a compact base, while the apartments give you separate seating areas, kitchenettes and outdoor terraces. The larger apartments are the sensible choice for adult friends travelling together or for anyone who dislikes having to stack every possession vertically after a day on a boat.

Sea-view accommodation puts the coast into the room rather than leaving it for the walk to the pool. The apartments add a terrace, a kitchenette, a refrigerator and an electric kettle, which gives you somewhere to keep cold water and a place to make a drink before dinner. The Standard Double Room is the compact option for two, with a large king-size bed and a private entrance.

Air conditioning is available throughout the accommodation, a useful detail when salt, heat and a full day outdoors have done their work. UNIO Bar is the only bar listed and is positioned beside the pool. It specialises in cocktails and refreshing drinks, while the restaurant and bar serve drinks through the day until sunset. Limited-hours room service is available, and special-diet menus can be arranged on request. The overall formula is breakfast included, with dinner and drinks available at the hotel rather than an all-inclusive package.

The main outdoor option is an adults-only pool with sun loungers, umbrellas, pool towels and a bar in the water. It is the obvious place to spend the afternoon when the body has had enough of fins but the day is not ready to end. The pool is outdoors and unheated, with the terrace and gardens providing the setting around it.

The nearby beach brings a different kind of post-dive pause: golden sand, loungers and parasols, all within 50 metres of the hotel. Snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding are available, with equipment hire and boat excursions adding a little more scope when you want to remain on the water without committing to another dive. Hiking and cycling suit the cooler part of the day, and excursions include a visit to Ibiza town and a boat trip to Formentera.

For a quieter recovery session, the hotel has a fully equipped gym, along with massage and beauty services. That gives you a choice between moving deliberately and not moving at all, both legitimate responses to a full day in the sea.
