Tossasub Diving Center

Located in the coastal town of Tossa de Mar, Tossasub is an official SSI Instructor Training Center and a certified Cressi-sub partner. The centre is positioned to serve both the local diving community and those travelling to the Costa Brava for professional development or recreational exploration.

Operating with all necessary maritime and local permits, the centre provides a structured environment for diving. Whether you are looking to start your journey with a Discover Scuba Diving session or are an experienced diver pursuing professional instructor ratings, the focus remains on technical precision and safety.

As an Instructor Training Center, the staff consists of fully certified instructors and divemasters who maintain active teaching statuses. This professional hierarchy ensures that training, from basic skills to advanced specialties, is handled by qualified personnel.

The centre operates with a strict ratio of one guide per diver, ensuring personalised attention and safety during every excursion. This small-group approach is maintained across their recreational and training programmes.

Tossasub is also committed to environmental stewardship, following the MISSION DEEP BLUE CENTER guidelines to ensure diving activities respect the local marine ecosystem.

The training catalogue is extensive, covering the full spectrum of SSI certifications. Beginners can start with Try Scuba Diving and progress through Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver.

For those looking to refine their skills or move into technical and professional realms, the centre offers several specialties including Nitrox, Deep Diving, Dry Suit, Perfect Buoyancy, and Night Diving. They also provide advanced training such as Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide.

As an Instructor Training Center, Tossasub is equipped to take divers through the professional path, including the Instructor course.

The centre operates a dedicated vessel with a capacity for 16 divers. This allows for organized departures and maintains the small-group atmosphere preferred for both training and recreational dives.

The shore-based facilities are designed for efficient dive preparation and post-dive maintenance. There are spacious changing rooms, including a mixed area and a separate section with hot showers, alongside dedicated rinsing and drying zones for your kit.

For those not bringing their own equipment, the centre offers a full range of rental kit that is regularly serviced and renewed. They also provide a van for the transport of divers and equipment to and from the water.
