Ali Sub

Located in Villajoyosa, Alicante, Ali Sub has been a fixture of the local diving community since 1999. Founded by Terencio and now run by his children, the centre has guided more than 3,500 divers through the waters of the Mediterranean.

The centre is situated at the Club Náutico on Avenida del Puerto, providing direct, easy access to the boat. This waterfront location makes the transition from the centre to the dive boat seamless, allowing you to focus entirely on your underwater experience.

The team is composed of Alejandro, Silvia, Jorge, Toni, and Penélope, a professional marine biologist. This biological expertise adds a unique layer to the diving experience, allowing for a deeper understanding of the ecosystems you encounter.

Instruction is handled with a focus on small groups and individual progress. For training courses, the ratio is kept to a maximum of 4 students per instructor. For exploration dives, you will find a maximum of 7 divers per guide, ensuring attentive supervision and a personalised approach to every outing.

As an SSI affiliated centre, Ali Sub offers a comprehensive range of training from beginner to professional levels. You can start with your Open Water Diver certification and progress through Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diver, and Dive Guide training.

Specialised courses are also available to refine your skills, including Nitrox, Stress & Rescue, and Perfect Buoyancy. For those interested in the biological side of the ocean, they offer a dedicated Marine Biology course. They also provide SSI Level 1 Freediving training.

The centre operates the Tohora, an 8.60-metre Olbap trimaran launched in 2020. It is powered by a 300CV Mercury Verado Sea Pro four-stroke engine, selected for its efficiency and low emissions.

On board, you will find everything needed for a comfortable day on the water, including fruit and beer. The boat is well-equipped for various types of diving, including night dives and open-sea expeditions.

Ali Sub maintains a high standard of equipment, using reputable brands such as Aqualung, Apeks, and Cressi. All kit is serviced annually and replaced every two years to ensure reliability.

For those needing to rent, a full range of equipment is available, including wetsuits, regulators, BCDs, and fins. They also provide dive computers for hire. A standout feature of the facility is the BAUER PureAir certification, which guarantees the high quality and cleanliness of the air in your cylinders.
