Club La Sirene

Located in the Midoun tourist zone of Djerba, Club La Sirene has been a cornerstone of the Tunisian diving community since 1998. This PADI 5 Star IDC centre has spent over two decades refining its approach to underwater exploration and professional training.

Whether you are looking to start your journey with a Discover Scuba Diving session or you are an experienced diver seeking advanced certifications, the centre provides a structured and professional environment. Their focus remains on technical precision and environmental respect, ensuring that every dive helps preserve the Mediterranean's delicate ecosystems.

As a PADI 5 Star IDC facility, the centre is equipped to provide the highest level of instruction available. Their staff includes highly qualified instructors capable of taking you through the entire range of PADI and CMAS certifications.

They maintain a high success rate for students pursuing professional paths, including the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). The team is experienced in teaching everything from basic buoyancy to advanced professional modules, ensuring a professional standard across all training levels.

The training programme is extensive, covering the full spectrum of PADI and CMAS certifications. Beginners can start with PADI Scuba Water, Bubblemaker, or Discover Scuba Diving, progressing through Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver levels.

The rocky habitats and reefs around Djerba are home to a diverse array of Mediterranean fish. You can regularly observe schools of Mediterranean fish, seabream, mullet, wrasses, and sand debar (Diplodus).

Among the larger inhabitants, you will find octopus (Octopoda), grouper (Epinephelinae), moray eel (Muraenidae), and various species of stingrays (Myliobatiformes). You may also encounter cuttlefish, squid, and occasionally barracuda.

For those interested in macro life, keep a sharp eye out for seahorses and various nudibranchs (Chromodoris willani). The seabed also hosts various sponges (Porifera) and sea anemones (Actiniaria).

The sea conditions in this region are generally calm with low currents, making it an accessible area for many divers.

From April to June, you can expect excellent visibility and water that warms up progressively. Between July and September, the water is at its warmest, providing ideal conditions for long sessions. From October to November, the crowds diminish while visibility remains high.
