The beach has a gentle slope, loungers and parasols, so getting from room to shoreline does not require a logistical operation worthy of a liveaboard departure.

You are around 5 km from the town centre and about 11 miles from Djerba–Zarzis International Airport, with the airport journey taking around 40 minutes. For a change of scenery, Café Malouf and Salon de Thé Cleopatra are about 0.3 mile away, while the Lalla Hadria Museum, Djerba Explore Park and Crocodile Farm are each roughly 3.5 miles away.

The room choice matters here because the resort serves two rather different types of traveller. For a couple, the Double Room or Standard Bungalow keeps things straightforward; the bungalow format also gives you a patio or balcony and a garden-facing outlook. If you are travelling with children or simply prefer not to stack bags and damp beachwear around the bed, the family bungalow options, Family Room and Suite give you more room to spread out. One Family Bungalow option has two bathrooms, which can save the morning queue before breakfast.

Rooms are air-conditioned and come with a private bathroom, shower, towels, toiletries, hairdryer, wardrobe or dressing area and a flat-screen satellite TV. Each room has a patio with a garden view, while balconies or terraces are available within the accommodation mix. There is also a minibar, free Wi-Fi and room service on request. Vegetarian and vegan choices are available throughout the buffet, which is useful when one member of the party has a different idea of what counts as dinner.

There are five bars. Wunderbar stays open around the clock, while the pool bar, beach bar, Aqua Snack Bar and Moorish Coffee Bar cover the spaces where you are most likely to want a drink without putting shoes on again. A minibar is also available in the rooms. Room service can be requested, with an additional charge.

Eight pools give you plenty of alternatives to the sea, including recreation pools, a relaxation pool, a children's pool and an indoor pool heated from November to April.
