The waters around the Daymaniyat Islands are a vital habitat for several species of sea turtles. You can expect to see green, hawksbill, loggerhead, and Ridley turtles as they navigate the reefs and coastal areas.

The reef architecture is supported by a rich variety of life, including hard corals (Scleractinia) and soft corals (Alcyonacea). These structures provide the foundation for large schools of fish and various reef fish that move through the water column.

For those interested in larger pelagics and interesting silhouettes, the area hosts various rays and sharks. You may encounter giant eagle rays, mobula rays, and Blacktip reef shark (Carcharhinus melanopterus) patrolling the reef edges.

Macro enthusiasts can look for smaller, more specialised residents such as the Seahorse (Hippocampus kuda), Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), and various Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae). The presence of Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani) and other small invertebrates adds significant detail to the reef floor.
