From the shallow, protected bays to the deeper, more challenging offshore reefs, the area offers a diverse range of underwater topographies. Whether you are looking for the calm waters of a reef flat or the adrenaline of a drift dive along a wall, the local geography provides a vast playground for all experience levels.

The centre is run by a small, dedicated team of enthusiasts who prioritise a personal touch. They operate as a PADI affiliated centre, ensuring that all training and guiding follow established international standards.

Instruction and guiding are conducted in English, making it straightforward for international divers to communicate during briefings and training sessions. The team manages small groups to ensure that every diver receives the attention required for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Dive in Marsa provides a full range of PADI training programmes. For those new to the water, the curriculum begins with the Bubblemaker and PADI Junior Open Water Diver courses.

For those looking to progress their skills, the centre offers the standard Open Water Diver course through to the professional Divemaster level. This allows you to build a structured progression from your very first breath underwater to advanced leadership training.

The centre offers dedicated accommodation in a modern, two-bedroom apartment located just a short walk from the town centre. The space is specifically designed for divers, featuring a dedicated lounge area to relax and organise your equipment between dives.

For those not travelling with a full kit, the centre provides equipment hire to ensure you have the necessary tools for your dives. Night diving is also an available option for those looking to explore the reef after sunset.

The Red Sea surrounding Marsa Alam is a stronghold for large pelagic species. You can encounter various sharks, including hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and the oceanic whitetip shark, which is most commonly seen between December and February. Manta rays, stingrays, and southern stingrays are also part of the local ecosystem, often found patrolling the deeper sections of the reef.

In the more sheltered areas and bays, the marine life is equally diverse. You will regularly see dolphins and various species of turtles. The protected waters of Marsa Mubarak are particularly famous for sightings of giant green turtles and the elusive dugong.

The reef itself is a vibrant habitat for a wide array of fish. You can expect to see barracuda, wahoo, and various species of rays, alongside a constant movement of smaller reef fish throughout the coral structures.

The local diving conditions are generally characterised by calm, protected bays such as Marsa Mubarak, which is shielded from the wind and maintains low currents. This makes it an ideal location for relaxed diving.

Other sites, particularly the offshore reefs, may offer more varied conditions. The best time to visit the region for optimal diving is between October and April.
