This is a useful base if you want a few options beyond the hotel. Splash Waterworld is around 0.4 miles away, Bayworld Oceanarium about 0.8 miles, and the Port Elizabeth Museum Complex roughly 0.9 miles. Restaurants include Blue Waters Cafe around 0.2 miles away, while several other places to eat and coffee shops sit within about a mile. King's Beach railway station is around 0.3 miles away.

The room choice is mainly about how much space and which bed arrangement suit your trip. A Queen Room or King Room keeps things straightforward for two, while the Large Twin Room is the sensible option when you want separate beds rather than negotiating who has stolen the duvet by breakfast. The fitness centre is available if you still have energy to spend, although the pool and a chair may prove more persuasive after a day in the water. The nearby beaches and Splash Waterworld add simple options for a non-diving day without requiring a full excursion.

For a change of pace, you can reach Bayworld Oceanarium and the Port Elizabeth Museum Complex in under a mile, while the South End Museum is around 0.7 miles away. The lodge therefore works for couples who want a quiet base between outings, as well as for families looking for nearby attractions.

Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport is roughly 2 miles away, with the journey taking only a short drive. An airport shuttle is available on request, so you can arrange the transfer with the lodge rather than improvising after a flight. Free private parking is available on site, with no reservation needed if you are hiring a car.

Check-in runs from 14:00 to 22:00, and departures are scheduled in the morning between 06:00 and 11:00. WiFi is free throughout the property. Laundry, a reception safety deposit box and room service are also available, all useful when a diving holiday has involved more damp clothing than planned.
