You can also reach Wailuku River State Park and Pe'e Pe'e Falls in about 2 miles by the nearby road network, with Rainbow Falls around 1.5 miles away. The Pacific Tsunami Museum and Lyman Museum & Mission House are both about 3 miles away. A car will make this location considerably easier to use; the property has private parking on site.

For a couple who wants the waterfall to remain part of the room, a waterfall-view room or cottage is the obvious direction.
