The hotel presents its information in English, and the setting suits a stay built around Kailua-Kona rather than an all-day hotel bubble. You can walk to coffee, restaurants, historic sites and the waterfront area, then return to air conditioning, a hot tub or a room with something cold in the fridge. Not glamorous for the sake of it.
