Upper floors are reached by stairs only, so the ground-floor arrangement is the sensible choice if stairs are an issue.

The main Verudela restaurant covers breakfast and dinner, while Pool Bar & Restaurant Oliva runs from breakfast through dinner on its terrace, with salads, pizza, pasta, fish and meat dishes. Three outdoor pools give you an easy alternative to the sea when you want a quiet hour without salt, fins or a timetable. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available around the pool and beach areas, with a surcharge for the loungers. The direct rocky beach is equipped with loungers and umbrellas, so you can settle close to the water rather than make a separate expedition of it.

The resort also has a spa with massages, facials, a hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, mud baths and body wraps. A fitness room is available as well, although a gentle walk along the coast may be the more realistic ambition on a day when your legs have already done their share of the work.

Entertainment staff and a children's playground add a little movement for families, while the kids' club and children's activities are aimed at those aged 5 to 12. Babysitting is also available.
