Nikiana keeps you close to the coast without placing you in the middle of a large town. Summertime Inn is about 350 metres away for a drink, and several restaurants sit within driving distance, including Taverna Seven Islands at about 2.5 miles. For a change of scenery on a non-diving day, Dimosari Waterfalls are around 3.1 miles away, while the Archaeological Museum Lefkas is about 5 miles away.

The room choice matters here because the accommodation ranges from a compact Deluxe Studio for two to large King Suites with balconies for groups of up to seven. For a couple who mainly needs a comfortable base between dives, the Deluxe Studio keeps things straightforward. If you want space to spread out, sit down properly and avoid living from an open suitcase, a Junior Suite or Deluxe Suite makes more sense.

The larger King Suites are the practical answer for families or several divers sharing an apartment. They offer balconies, sea views, two bathrooms and room for a bigger group, which is a considerable improvement on negotiating one shower after a long day in salt water. Family rooms are available, and children of any age are welcome; cots can be requested for younger children.

Every unit includes air conditioning, a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a dining table. The kitchen equipment covers the useful basics, including a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. There is also a sofa, wardrobe space, soundproofing and a drying rack for clothing. In other words, you can cool down, make something simple, and sleep without treating the room like a storage locker.

Breakfast is included and served as a buffet, which is the right format when you need to assemble a reliable first meal rather than wait for a culinary revelation. Aktion Airport is about 18 miles away, with the drive taking around 32 minutes. Free private parking is available on site, and car hire can be arranged through the property.
