Buceo Valencia

Buceo Valencia has been a fixture of the local diving community since 1997. Based at the Puerto Deportivo Pobla de Farnals, the centre has trained more than 8,000 students, ranging from those taking their first breaths underwater to professional divers pursuing instructor qualifications.

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, they are authorised to conduct Instructor Development Courses, making them a key training hub in the region. The centre operates with a strong emphasis on maritime and autonomous diving regulations, ensuring that every excursion is planned with rigorous safety standards and emergency protocols in place.

The team is composed of professional instructors dedicated to a high standard of teaching. They offer instruction in Spanish, catering to local divers and those looking for a native-speaking environment.

The centre is structured to provide personalised attention, with an emphasis on adapting the pace of training to the individual student. Whether you are working through your initial certifications or refining your skills through a Scuba Review, the instruction is designed to be thorough and safety-oriented.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the entire PADI progression. Beginners can start with a Discover Scuba Diving experience or work through the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses. The centre also offers specialised training such as the PADI Deep Diver, PADI Wreck Diver, and Peak Performance Buoyancy courses.

For more advanced divers, Buceo Valencia provides professional-level training including Divemaster and the Instructor Development Course (IDC). They also offer technical and skill-specific courses such as Dry Suit diving, Nitrox, Search and Recovery, and Underwater Navigation. Emergency training is available through the EFR (Emergency First Response) course.

The centre provides complete equipment hire for divers who do not wish to carry their own kit. This includes regulators, wetsuits, fins, and other essential items, all of which undergo periodic servicing to maintain safety standards.

For those looking to extend their bottom time, Nitrox is available on-site. The facility is well-equipped to handle the needs of both recreational and training divers, with a focus on reliable, well-maintained gear.

Diving activities take place in the sea, and divers should be aware that the boat may be subject to movement due to swell. If you are prone to motion sickness, it is recommended to take preventative medication before heading out.
