The setting suits divers who want a practical base with plenty to do on site, as well as couples or families travelling together. There is a beach directly opposite, a choice of pools, a fitness centre, tennis, mini golf and a cinema showing films each evening. It is a resort with working parts, not just a bed beside the coast.

The address is 260 The Esplanade in Miami, Gold Coast, Australia. North Burleigh Beach is directly opposite the resort, while the sandy stretch at Burleigh Heads is about 0.1 mile away. Miami Beach is roughly 0.25 mile away, putting sea air and beach access firmly into your daily routine rather than leaving them as an excursion.

For food and supplies, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket are within a 5- to 10-minute walk. Caffeine Kings is about 300 metres away, with Paddock Bakery and Grind Me Coffee Co. also nearby; Black Hops Brewing is around 0.35 mile away. Burleigh Head National Park is about 1.5 miles from the resort, and Surfers Paradise is 5.5 miles away.

Gold Coast Airport is about 7 miles away, with the resort describing the drive as taking around 20 minutes. Brisbane Airport is about 57 miles away by road, with a journey of roughly 1 hour 20 minutes. A bus stop outside the resort gives you access to Pacific Fair, the airport and Gold Coast attractions.

These are self-contained apartments, which matters when you return hungry, sandy and not especially interested in making conversation with a restaurant. The food arrangement is built around your apartment rather than a hotel dining room. With a proper kitchen, dining table, oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, you can make breakfast before an early start, prepare something substantial after a day in the water or keep the whole affair very simple. The nearby cafes and restaurants give you an easy change of plan when cooking feels like an unreasonable demand.

Outdoor BBQ facilities, a picnic area and garden furniture add another option for an evening meal. Tea and coffee-making facilities are available in the apartments, while snack and drinks vending machines cover the sort of small emergency that occurs when you return from the beach later than planned.

There is no breakfast formula, half-board arrangement or all-inclusive plan to build your stay around. The useful distinction is clear enough: you have the tools to feed yourself, plus local places within walking distance when you would rather hand that job to someone else.

The outdoor pool is heated and has a children's wading area, sun loungers and umbrellas. For a quieter recovery session, the heated indoor pool and spa sit alongside a sauna and steam room. There is also an indoor spa, so you can choose between fresh air and warm water without having to make a major expedition of it. A fitness centre is available when you feel the need to remind your shoulders that they still have a job.

Sport is unusually well represented for a resort of this type. You have a full-size tennis court with pickleball markings, a basketball hoop, tennis equipment, lawn bowls, bocce, outdoor chess and an 18-hole mini golf course. None of this requires you to put on a collared shirt or pretend that a resort activity is a cultural pilgrimage. It is there for a game, a laugh and a reason to move before dinner.

Evenings have their own options. The on-site cinema shows a film daily at 7 pm, while the adults' lounge offers a pool table, library and complimentary tea and coffee. Children have an indoor lounge with table tennis, video games, air hockey and a toddler play area. Beach chairs, surfboards, boogie boards, DVDs and books are available to borrow and return to the resort.

Plan your arrival rather than turning up at an indeterminate hour and hoping for the best. Check-in runs from 4 pm to 7 pm, and you need to give the resort your expected arrival time in advance. Photo identification and a credit card are required at check-in. Check-out is from 8 am to 10 am, so early departures are part of the operating rhythm here.

Free private parking is available on site, with one vehicle per room, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. A lift provides access around the property, although lift replacement works are scheduled from July to December 2026; one lift will be out of service at a time, with possible longer waits and intermittent noise. Luggage storage, a concierge and a safety deposit box are also available.

A neighbouring construction project on the northern side may create intermittent weekday noise from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm, and some rooms may be affected. That is the practical caveat to keep in mind when choosing your room and travel dates. The resort is smoke-free, children of any age are welcome, and the minimum age for check-in is 18.
