The waterfront gives you plenty to do between dives without needing to plan a full expedition. Signal Hill is about 1.2 miles away, Lion's Head roughly 4.2 miles away, and the city centre's museums and landmarks are close enough for a change of scenery when your surface interval needs more than coffee.
