Residence Fort Savane is a small, modern hotel in the middle of Fort-de-France, with 15 rooms and a courtyard planted with gardens. It suits you if your Martinique plans include more than beaches: a city base, a proper choice of places to eat, and somewhere practical to come back to between outings.

The atmosphere is urban rather than resort-like. Martinique Aime Cesaire International Airport is about a 20-minute drive away, making the arrival and departure days reasonably straightforward.

The room choice is mainly about how you want to use the space. A double room keeps things simple for a couple, while a studio makes more sense if you want a kitchenette alongside the bedroom. The Superior Suite with Sea View is the one to consider when the view matters more than keeping the arrangement compact.
