Dive Resort Seychelles

Dive Resort Seychelles is situated on the southwest coast of Mahé, serving as the sole dive centre for the southern part of the island. Since its establishment in 1996, the centre has provided divers with exclusive access to the region's most pristine and well-preserved sites.

Because of its location, you are far from the heavy traffic found in the north. This allows for a more authentic and personal experience, focused on the unique underwater landscapes that define the southern Seychelles.

As a PADI 5 Star dive centre, the resort operates with a high standard of training and safety. The team is comprised of experienced local instructors who possess an in-depth knowledge of the southern Mahé coastline.

All instruction and communication at the centre is conducted in English. Whether you are working through a certification or planning an advanced expedition, you are supported by a team that has been operating in these waters for nearly three decades.

The centre offers a comprehensive range of PADI courses, catering to all experience levels. You can begin your training with basic certifications and progress through the full curriculum.

For those looking to advance their skills, the centre provides training for the Divemaster level. This ensures that whether you are a novice or an experienced diver, the instruction is tailored to your specific certification requirements.

The granite landscapes and coral reefs host a variety of large marine life. You will frequently encounter reef sharks, hawksbill turtles, and lobsters. Depending on the season, you may also see whale sharks.

Between November and April, the biodiversity is particularly notable. You can observe reef sharks, turtles, and various tropical species of the Indian Ocean.

Smaller reef inhabitants are abundant throughout the area, including clownfish, thornback boxfish, stonefish, and various species of angelfish, butterflyfish, and parrotfish.

Conditions vary depending on the specific site you are visiting. While many sites offer calm waters, some locations, such as Intendance Rock, are known for moderate to strong currents.
