Located in Larnaca, Cyprus, the Pineapple Dive Club is an independent operation established in 2014. The centre is built around a specialised focus on wreck diving, specifically the world-renowned Zenobia wreck, which serves as the cornerstone of their diving programme.

The club is designed for divers who prefer a relaxed, unhurried approach to the underwater world. By maintaining small groups and a high level of individual attention, the centre ensures that whether you are a beginner or an advanced diver, the experience remains focused and professional.

The centre is led by Alex, an Elite instructor with affiliations across SDI, TDI, and BSAC. His expertise is particularly noted regarding the Zenobia wreck, where he has logged more than 2,000 dives, providing a level of local knowledge that is difficult to match.

Instruction is delivered in English, and the club maintains a strict ratio of one guide for every four divers. This ensures that every member of the buddy pair receives sufficient attention and guidance throughout the dive.

Beyond technical instruction, the club emphasises a transparent approach to diving. All dives include the necessary kit, and the service includes photography and video to document your time underwater without any hidden administrative fees.

The club offers a comprehensive range of training through SDI, TDI, and BSAC. Beginners can start with the Open Water Course or participate in a discovery experience, while those looking to progress can enrol in the Advanced Adventure Diver programme.

The waters around Larnaca and the surrounding bays are home to a variety of large marine life. You will regularly encounter resident turtles, including the Loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta), alongside schools of seabream (Sparidae) and striped bream. Larger pelagics like Tuna (Thunnus) and Amberjack (Seriola) may also pass through the area.

On the reef and around the wrecks, you can find various predators and interesting species such as the Octopus (Octopoda), Moray eel (Muraenidae), and Lionfish (Pterois volitans). Devil firefish (Pterois miles) and Barracuda (Sphyraena) are also part of the local ecosystem.

For those interested in smaller, more detailed life, the area offers plenty of interest. You can look for the Ornate wrasse, various species of Damselfish (Pomacentridae), and the occasional Seahorse (Hippocampus). Macro enthusiasts may also spot Nudibranchs (Chromodoris willani) and various cone snails among the rocks and corals.

The best period for diving in this region is from May to November. During these months, visibility can reach up to 30 metres, providing excellent sightlines for wreck exploration and sculpture viewing.

Sea temperatures range from a minimum of 18°C to a maximum of 32°C depending on the season.
