Dossotaigua Dive Center

Located in the heart of the Costa Brava in Platja d’Aro, DOSSOTAIGUA Dive Center has been operating since 2012. The centre serves as a base for exploring the diverse marine environments of the Girona coastline, offering both guided dives for certified divers and introductory experiences for those new to the water.

Operating throughout the year, the centre provides a structured environment for those looking to progress through their PADI training or simply enjoy the local reefs and rocky formations. Whether you are looking for a single afternoon of exploration or a series of specialised courses, the centre's setup is designed to handle the varied needs of the local diving community.

The team consists of experienced instructors and guides dedicated to maintaining a safe and professional diving environment. Their approach focuses on providing comfortable and well-managed excursions, ensuring that even those on their first dive feel supported.

As a PADI affiliated centre, they offer a comprehensive educational pathway. This includes everything from initial Discover Scuba Diving sessions to professional-level training such as Divemaster, ensuring a clear progression for divers looking to advance their skills or career.

The course catalogue is extensive, catering to every stage of a diver's development. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Scuba Diver course, eventually progressing to the PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For those looking to refine specific skills, the centre offers several PADI specialties, including Nitrox, Deep Diver, and Wreck Diver. DOSSOTAIGUA provides full equipment hire for divers who do not wish to carry their own kit. This includes all the necessary components for a complete dive setup, allowing you to travel light to Platja d’Aro.

For those looking to extend their bottom time or manage their nitrogen loading more effectively, Nitrox is available on-site. The centre is also equipped to handle various training requirements, providing the necessary support for a wide range of PADI specialties.
