Lima Coast Diving & Tourism

Based in Fujairah, Lima Coast Diving & Tourism serves as a gateway to the unique marine environment of the Musandam region. They combine traditional Arabian maritime culture with modern diving excursions, offering a way to experience the rugged coastline and its underwater ecosystems.

The centre provides a variety of ways to access the water, ranging from fast boat trips for day divers to traditional dhow cruises. For those looking to stay longer, they organise overnight safaris and camping trips that allow for a deeper immersion into the local geography.

The centre manages all necessary administrative formalities for crossing checkpoints, ensuring a smoother transition for those travelling through the region. Their operations are conducted in English, making them accessible for international divers.

In addition to diving, the team organises terrestrial activities such as guided mountain hiking and kayaking, providing a multi-disciplinary approach to exploring the Musandam area.

The fleet consists of five vessels, including traditional dhows and fast boats. Named vessels include the Riah Al Shamal, Al QAhar, and Lima, alongside Lima 2 and a dedicated fast boat.

Onboard the dhows, you will find traditional refreshments, food, and drinks provided during the trip. All vessels are equipped with essential safety equipment for your dives and excursions.

The waters around Musandam are home to a diverse range of pelagics and reef fish. You may encounter Blacktip reef shark (Carcharhinus melanopterus), Barracuda (Sphyraena), and various species of Jack (Carangidae) and Trevally. Schools of Fusilier (Caesio), Mackerel (Scombridae), and Chromis often move through the water column.

On the reef, look for colourful Angelfish (Pomacanthidae), Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), and Parrotfish (Calotomus). You will also find Sergeant major fish, Damselfish (Pomacentridae), and various species of Batfish (Platax) amongst the structures.

For those interested in macro life and smaller inhabitants, the area hosts Octopus (Octopoda), Cuttlefish (Sepiidae), and Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani). Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), Pufferfish (Arothron hispidus), and Boxfish (Ostraciidae) can often be found tucked into crevices, while Moray eel (Muraenidae) and Honeycomb moray eels patrol the reef edges.
