The reefs are home to a vast array of coral life that forms the backbone of the ecosystem. You will find extensive colonies of Hard coral (Scleractinia), Soft coral (Alcyonacea), and various fan corals. Black coral trees and table corals provide complex structures for smaller organisms, while yellow corals, orange corals, and blue coral (blue Acropora) add intense colour to the seascape.

Large schools of reef fish are a constant presence, including colourful Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), Anthias (Anthias), and various species of Damselfish (Pomacentridae). You can also observe Parrotfish (Calotomus), Snapper (Lutjanus), and large groups of Fusilier (Caesio) moving through the water column. More substantial fish like the Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), Grouper (Epinephelus), and various species of Jack (Carangidae) are frequently seen patrolling the reef.

For those interested in macro life and smaller inhabitants, the reefs offer plenty of detail. Look for the Ghost pipefish (Solenostomidae), Seahorse (Hippocampus kuda), and various species of Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani) amongst the corals. Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), Trumpetfish (Aulostomidae), and various species of shrimp and harlequin shrimps can be found tucked into crevices, while Octopus (Octopus vulgaris) and Cuttlefish (Sepiidae) move across the seabed.

Larger creatures also make appearances, including sea turtles (Cheloniidae), blue-spotted stingrays, and occasionally whale sharks. You may also spot Eagle ray (Aetobatus), various types of rays (Batoidea), and predators such as the Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) or other Shark (Selachimorpha) species passing through the area.
