Koh Kood Divers

Koh Kood Divers is a PADI 5 Star dive centre situated in the heart of Koh Kood, specifically in the Klong Chao area. Since its founding in 2008 by Bob and Jessie Kosten, the centre has become a staple for divers looking to explore the Gulf of Thailand.

The centre is well-suited for a variety of divers, from families and children looking for calm, shallow reef environments to more experienced divers seeking deeper challenges. They operate primarily out of Koh Kood, providing a base for both local reef exploration and more ambitious excursions.

The team is composed of experienced PADI-certified instructors who prioritise safety and small group sizes. To ensure close supervision and a personalised experience, they maintain a ratio of no more than four divers per guide.

Instruction is available in multiple languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, and Dutch. This multilingual approach makes the centre an accessible choice for international divers.

Beyond recreational diving, the centre offers structured professional pathways, including the Divemaster programme and the Elite Divemaster Internship. They also run dedicated programmes for younger divers, such as the PADI Bubble Maker and Junior Open Water courses.

The best time to plan your diving trips to this area is between November and April. During this period, the conditions are generally most favourable for exploring the reefs and wrecks.

While the centre operates year-round, the seasonal window provides the most consistent experience for divers visiting the Koh Kood and Koh Mak regions.
