You have direct access to the pool, sea and pool views, a patio with outdoor furniture, and an indoor sofa for the part of the evening when the legs have stopped negotiating. Air conditioning matters on an island, particularly when you have spent the day warm, wet and salty. The main non-diving decision is whether to use the beach or the infinity pool. For a couple, that gives you two workable versions of an afternoon: salt water and sand, or fresh water and a book. Neither requires much planning, which is often the point.

Kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling, fishing and other water-sport facilities are available, with some activities arranged on site or elsewhere. The resort can also arrange excursions, including kayaking, waterfall visits, a fire-dancing show and a firefly expedition. Jungle trekking and cultural excursions add a land-based option when you have had enough of looking at the bottom of the sea.
