Operating since 2007, Meridis Dive and Relax has established a reliable presence in the Maldives by positioning itself across two very different atoll environments. This dual-location approach allows you to experience the varying marine landscapes of both the Ha Alif and Vaavu atolls.

At Dhonakulhi, the centre benefits from a vast, white sand beach and a turquoise lagoon, providing a classic Maldivian backdrop. Meanwhile, the operations at Cocogiri Island Resort in Vaavu offer a more boutique, luxury-focused experience for those looking to combine diving with high-end island living.

The team is composed of experienced professionals, including qualified PADI and SSI instructors. This ensures that whether you are working towards your first certification or looking for advanced training, you are guided by instructors familiar with the local conditions.

To support their international clientele, the staff is highly multilingual. Beyond English and German, the team can communicate in Dhivehi, Vietnamese, Russian, Afrikaans, Hindi, and Malayalam, making coordination and briefing straightforward regardless of your native tongue.

Local expertise is a core part of the operation, with a dedicated crew of captains and dhoni members. These crew members are essential for navigating the local waters and ensuring the smooth running of daily boat trips.

Meridis Dive and Relax provides a comprehensive range of training through both PADI and SSI affiliations. You can begin your journey with entry-level courses and progress through the full spectrum of professional development.

Specific courses offered include the Open Water Scuba Instructor programme, as well as EFR (Emergency First Response) and Care for Children training. This ensures that the team is not only focused on diving but also on the broader aspects of water safety and rescue.

The centre utilises traditional dhoni vessels for its excursions. These boats are manned by experienced captains and crew, providing an authentic Maldivian diving experience as you transit between the reef and the boat.
