This is a three-star city hotel in the Psyri area, close enough to the old town for you to spend less time organising transport and more time deciding whether the next stop is an ancient ruin, a café or a bar.

The atmosphere comes from the neighbourhood rather than from a resort programme. Psyri is lively, with bars, cafés and restaurants around you, while the hotel adds a rooftop terrace and seasonal restaurant of its own. You get a practical base for a few days in the capital, with air conditioning, free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk waiting when your sightseeing has finally used up the legs.

You are in Athens, Greece, within a 10-minute walk of the Old Town. Thiseio Metro is about 0.1 miles away, and Monastiraki Metro is about 0.3 miles from the hotel, giving you two useful options for moving around the city without turning every outing into a taxi discussion.

Ancient Kerameikos is about 0.3 miles away, while the Ancient Agora is roughly 0.3 miles away on foot. Monastiraki Square is around 0.3 miles away, and the Acropolis is about 0.7 miles on foot. The Temple of Hephaestus is close by too, at roughly 0.2 miles. Athens International Airport is about 19 miles away by road.

The sea is not the reason to choose this address. Flisvos Beach is about 5 miles away by road, with Edem Beach at around 6 miles, so a beach or shore-based day needs transport rather than a stroll in flip-flops. For an urban stay, however, the useful landmarks are packed around you: the Islamic Art Museum is about 300 feet away, and Lycabettus Hill is around 1.8 miles away.

The room choice is most useful when matched to the shape of your trip. A Single Room keeps things simple for solo travel, while a Twin Room gives two people separate beds rather than forcing a holiday friendship to become an experiment. Couples can choose a room with the practical basics in place, and families have the option of a Triple Room or a Quadruple Room, with the latter using four single beds rather than a complicated sofa arrangement.

The hotel therefore works whether you want a rooftop breakfast, a quick drink nearby or a proper meal out among the local streets.

The main activity here is Athens itself, and the location makes it easy for you to build a day around the Ancient Agora, Kerameikos, the Acropolis or Monastiraki Square without starting each outing with a long transfer. The Temple of Hephaestus and the surrounding archaeological sites are close enough to combine with a leisurely wander, while the Museum of Illusions is about 800 feet away for a change of pace when columns and carved stone begin to blur together.

Back at the hotel, the terrace gives you somewhere to sit above street level, and the rooftop restaurant adds a reason to stay there for a while. There is no need to manufacture a schedule around facilities: this is a base for city exploring, with the reward of a shower, air conditioning and a place to put your feet up afterwards.

If you want a wider view of Athens, Lycabettus Hill is around 1.8 miles away. If you want the coast, the nearest listed beaches are several miles away and call for transport. That makes the hotel a better fit for a city-and-culture stay than for a beach holiday with a few excursions added on.

Check-in runs from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. The 24-hour front desk, luggage storage and wake-up service are useful if your arrival or departure does not line up neatly with those hours. A safety deposit box is also available, and the hotel accepts card payments rather than cash.

Private parking is available nearby, with no reservation needed. The parking is off-site, so you should allow for that practical extra step when arriving with luggage or a hire car. The metro is the simpler option for many city journeys, with Thiseio and Monastiraki stations both within easy reach.

Children of all ages are welcome. A cot can be requested for children aged from birth to two years, subject to the room option and availability; extra beds are not available. Pets are not allowed. A computer is available for public use in the lobby, while a tablet or laptop can be requested, and the business centre gives you a fallback for practical tasks rather than holiday paperwork taking over the room.
