Santorini International Airport is close: around 1.2 miles away by road, with a drive of about four minutes. Art Space Santorini is about 0.8 miles away, while the Church of Panagia Episkopi is around 1.1 miles away by road.

You are also within reach of the island's better-known sights. Ancient Thera is about 3 miles away by road, the Archaeological Museum of Thera around 3 miles, and the Archaeological Site of Akrotiri about 6 miles. For an evening meal, Metaxi Mas is roughly half a mile away on foot; Kamari's beach area brings further restaurants and bars.

The accommodation works particularly well for couples who want more than a bed and a television. The Deluxe Double Studio keeps things simple, while the One-Bedroom Apartment gives you a little more separation and suits a longer stay when unpacking properly matters. The choice is therefore practical rather than theoretical: stay in with supplies from the kitchen, or take a short drive towards Kamari and its beachside dining.

A separate restaurant at a Pyrgos address shares the Mythos name: Mythos Grill & Tavern serves traditional Greek food on a terrace from midday until midnight. Its menu includes appetisers, salads, seafood, pasta, coal-grilled meat, spit roasts and daily casseroles, with local products such as fava beans, Santorini sausages, white aubergine and cherry tomatoes. It is a restaurant in Pyrgos, not the apartment's dining room, so treat it as a separate stop on the island rather than an on-site service.

The terrace and outdoor furniture do much of the work when you want to slow the day down. Add a sea, garden or town view, a cold drink from the refrigerator and a chair that does not require a reservation: sometimes that is the entire evening's programme.

For a change of scenery, the tour desk can help with island plans, while car hire and bicycle rental give you independent ways to reach beaches, villages and archaeological sites. Art Space Santorini is close enough to make an easy cultural outing, and the surrounding Mesa Gonia area brings vineyards, historic architecture and Byzantine churches rather than a line-up of hotel entertainment.

Kamari Beach, Agia Paraskevi Beach and Monolithos Beach are all within a few miles. Ancient Thera and Akrotiri provide the more substantial land excursions, with enough history to justify putting the fins away for an afternoon.

An airport shuttle and a general shuttle service are available to arrange with the property, and car hire can also be organised. Bicycle rental is another option for getting around the island.
