Set on Okinawa’s west coast, this small seaside resort suits you if the coast matters more than a long list of hotel facilities. The beach is directly in front, Toya Fishing Port is close by, and the setting keeps the focus on the water.

It also works for a family stay, with direct access to a white-sand beach and several ways to spend time on or around the sea. You can snorkel, fish, join a boat excursion or use the house as a base for exploring Yomitan and the wider Okinawa area.

The feel is practical and coastal rather than formal. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel, parking is free, and the location gives you an easy place to come back to when the day has been spent outside.

The house is in Toya, Yomitan, on Okinawa’s west coast, around 2 km from Yomitan town centre. The sea is directly in front of the property, with steps leading down to the beach.

That beach is sandy, white and described as almost private. Sun loungers and parasols are available, so you can settle there without turning the shoreline into an expedition of its own.

The surrounding area gives you plenty to put on a non-diving day: Toya Fishing Port, Murasaki Mura, Zakimi Castle Ruins, Yachimun no Sato, Cape Zanpa, American Village and Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium are all listed as excursion destinations.

Food is tied closely to the harbour here. Kaito Shokudo, a seafood restaurant at Toya Fishing Port, serves lunch and dinner, giving you a straightforward option for a proper meal near the water.

This is seafood rather than a resort-wide restaurant circuit, and the setting matters as much as the menu: the restaurant is at the fishing port, not tucked away in an anonymous dining room. After a day outdoors, that is the sort of detail that makes the location useful.

The beach does most of the work. Direct access, white sand, loungers and parasols give you an easy place to slow down, while snorkelling keeps the sea within reach without turning every water activity into a formal outing.

Fishing and boat excursions are also available, giving the coast a more active side when lying on a lounger has run its course. The setting is well suited to a couple or family who want several simple options rather than a packed entertainment schedule.

For a day on land, the excursion list ranges from the nearby fishing port and cultural sites to Cape Zanpa, American Village and Churaumi Aquarium. Murasaki Mura, Zakimi Castle Ruins and Yachimun no Sato add more local colour to the road plan.

The hotel is about an hour from the airport. An airport shuttle is not available, so you will need to arrange your own onward transport. Free parking is available on site, which is useful if you are driving around Okinawa rather than relying on transfers.

Check-out is by 10:00. Early arrival and late departure can be requested, giving you a little flexibility around flights or a final day by the sea.

The minimum check-in age is 20. Quiet is expected at night, including no loud conversations, music, karaoke or parties, and guests are asked not to invite non-residents into the property. Electricity runs at 100 volts with both Type A and Type B sockets, and the supply uses both 50 and 60 Hz depending on the local grid.
