Marine Park, Phu Quoc: Reef Diving in the An Thoi Archipelago

Diving the Marine Park in Phu Quoc means dropping into a sprawling outer-archipelago reef system. You'll descend into an environment defined by healthy hard coral formations, especially prevalent in the shallower zones. The general profile takes you across coral-covered terrain, transitioning into deeper sections where you'll find more substantial coral heads and some natural swim-throughs, offering a dynamic and varied dive landscape that moves beyond a simple flat reef.

While the term 'Marine Park' covers a broader area, the dive sites within it share a consistent reef character rather than being distinct pinnacles or walls. The topography here is intricate, with numerous nooks and crannies to explore. As you navigate these formations, the light plays through the water, especially in the shallower sections, highlighting the vibrant colors of the hard corals that form the backbone of this ecosystem.
