For those looking to turn a passion into a career, the centre provides training for the Divemaster level.

The centre operates the Vandamme, a 7.60m motorboat powered by twin Yamaha CV 85 engines. This vessel is equipped for safety with GPS, an echo sounder, life jackets, and a first aid kit.

In addition to day trips, the centre organises cruises to reach more remote, uncontaminated sites. The boat is also available for night dives, allowing you to explore the reef after sunset.

The reefs around Nosy Be are rich with life, featuring various species of reef fish and diverse coral formations. You will regularly encounter sea turtles and motley rays while exploring the shallow reef flats.

For macro enthusiasts, the area is a prime location to find nudibranchs and other small benthic animals. The presence of plankton in certain areas also makes the region a significant site for seeing larger pelagics.

During the breeding and calving season, humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae) can be seen in the area. Additionally, whale sharks are frequently present when plankton levels are high.

Marine conditions are influenced by the seasons, tidal movements, and lunar phases. These factors can affect local currents and the presence of plankton, which in turn attracts larger species like whale sharks.
