Located in Yeni İskele, Scuba Pulse serves as a professional hub for divers looking to explore the diverse marine environments of Northern Cyprus. With over 25 years of experience in the Eastern Mediterranean, the centre has established itself as a key training facility for both recreational enthusiasts and aspiring professionals.

The centre operates as a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center, making it a primary destination for those looking to advance their careers. Whether you are starting with your first breaths underwater or working towards your Instructor certification, the facility is geared towards structured, high-standard training.

As an Instructor Development Center, the team is equipped to guide divers through the entire PADI progression. This includes everything from entry-level courses to the professional path, including Divemaster and Assistant Instructor programmes. The presence of a PADI Diamond Course Director ensures that the training meets the highest possible standards for IDC candidates.

The centre is highly international, with instructors able to communicate in English, Turkish, Swedish, Russian, German, and Farsi. This multilingual approach makes it a convenient base for divers travelling from across Europe and beyond.

For those moving into professional training, Scuba Pulse offers specific support for international candidates, including assistance with prerequisites and dedicated accommodation options located close to the classrooms, pool, and dive centre.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the full spectrum of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving, Scuba Diver, or Open Water Diver, while those looking to deepen their skills can progress through Advanced Open Water Diver and specialty courses such as Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, and Drift Diver.

For divers focused on technical or specialized skills, the centre offers Sidemount Rec Diver, Dry Suit Diver, and DPV Diver (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) training. There is also a strong emphasis on safety and conservation through courses like Emergency First Response, Oxygen First Responder, PADI AWARE Shark Conservation, and Dive Against Debris.

Nitrox is available for use, and the centre offers larger cylinder options, including 15-litre and 18-litre cylinders, to extend your bottom time and gas management options.

The Mediterranean waters around the centre are home to a diverse array of fish species. You will encounter various wrasses, including the Mediterranean rainbow wrasse (Coris julis), as well as seabream, saddle bream, and black seabream. Schools of fish such as jacks (Carangidae), tuna (Thunnus), and amberjack (Seriola) are common, alongside sightings of groupers (Epinephelus) and lionfish (Pterois volitans).

In the rocky areas and around the wreck, look for moray eels (Muraenidae), scorpionfish, and squirrelfish. You may also spot larger pelagics like Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) or eagle rays (Aetobatus) passing through the area.

Macro life and smaller inhabitants provide plenty of interest for keen observers. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs (Chromodoris willani), seahorses (Hippocampus kuda), and various species of octopus (Octopus vulgaris). Cuttlefish (Sepiidae) and squid (Sepioteuthis sepioidea) are also frequently seen, along with various blennies and pipefish.

The seabed is characterised by a variety of life, including sponges, sea squirts, and tube worms, which provide a rich habitat for smaller crustaceans and reef fish.

The centre operates throughout the year, with specific dive trips and excursions scheduled according to the season. The Zenobia trips and wreck diving are best suited to those with the appropriate depth certifications.
