SDSC - Scuba Diving Support Center

Located in Paralimni, SDSC operates as a dedicated support centre and filling station for the diving communities of Protaras and Ayia Napa. Rather than running standard recreational dive trips, this facility focuses on providing high-quality gas and equipment support to the wider diving community.

For technical divers and dive clubs, the centre offers a reliable hub for specialized gas blending. They maintain rigorous standards for air quality, monitoring levels of CO, CO2, and O2, as well as oil and moisture content, to ensure every cylinder is safe for use.

The centre operates with a professional focus on technical support and logistics. They offer specialised services tailored to the needs of both recreational and technical diving operations in the region.

Staff are available to assist with technical enquiries, and the facility is equipped to support search and rescue operations. The centre provides information and assistance in both English and German.

SDSC provides advanced training options for divers looking to expand their technical capabilities. Their curriculum includes Nitrox, Trimix, and Rebreather courses.

These programmes are designed to support divers transitioning into more complex profiles, providing the necessary skills for advanced gas management and life-support system operation.

The facility is equipped with three high-pressure compressors and one low-pressure compressor, providing a total capacity of 2,100 L/min. This setup allows for efficient filling of a wide variety of cylinders, ranging from 2L to 18L volumes.

Beyond gas, the centre provides full equipment hire for those needing a complete rig, including regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, fins, masks, snorkels, weights, and computers. They also act as a distributor for various brands of diving and snorkeling equipment.
