English is spoken by the hotel team, alongside German and Greek, so you can deal with the practicalities without hand signals or heroic miming. The management also works in English. The tone is straightforward: beach time, a swim, food on the terrace and a quiet evening when you want one. The accommodation was last renovated in 2023, and the property combines private apartment-style units with the services you would expect from a hotel.

Villa Myrto is in Pelekas, Corfu, on the seafront with a sandy beach directly in front of the hotel. The beach is golden sand, around 100 metres long, with sun loungers and parasols. You can go from your room to the sea without turning the outing into a transport operation.

Mirtiotissa Beach is about 0.9 miles away by the mapped route, while Glyfada Beach is about 2.2 miles away by road. Ermones Beach is around 1.6 miles on foot or 1.7 miles by car, and Kontogialos Beach is about 2.5 miles on foot. The west coast gives you several beaches to choose from, but this is not a town-centre address.

Corfu town is around 6 miles away, and the airport is about 7 miles by road. Jimmy's Restaurant and Alexandros are each roughly 1.8 miles away by car, with Zanzibar bar around 1.9 miles away. For an afternoon with a historical angle, the Kaiser Observatory is about 1.9 miles away on foot, while Achilleion Palace is around 8 miles away by road.

The Studio is the sensible couple's choice when you want a private base rather than a large resort room. It has a double bed, bathroom, air conditioning, a kitchenette and an outdoor space, with garden views available. The private entrance helps keep the room feeling like your own corner of the property, not merely a bed behind a corridor door.

For a family or two people who prefer not to live entirely out of a dive bag, the Family Apartment gives you more breathing room. It is the useful option when wet towels, clothes, camera cases and evening clothes all need somewhere to exist at the same time. A dining area, kitchenware, kettle and refrigerator make simple meals and cold drinks practical, particularly when you return tired and would rather not set off again immediately.

Air conditioning deals with the warm, salty end of the day, while soundproofing and a mosquito net cover two rather different night-time concerns. Each unit has a balcony or terrace, and views can look towards the garden, pool or mountains. Upper floors are reached by stairs only, so keep that in mind if stairs and a heavy case are a poor combination. The rooms also include a drying rack for clothing, iron and ironing facilities, towels, slippers and a private bathroom with shower.

Myrto Restaurant serves Mediterranean food on a terrace with sea views, using fresh local ingredients in its dishes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available, giving you the option of keeping meals on site rather than organising another journey when your legs have had enough for one day.

Breakfast is a buffet from 07:30, followed by lunch from 12:30 to 15:00 and dinner from 19:00 to 22:00. The arrangement is half board, and the dress code is casual. Vegetarian dishes are part of the offer, which is useful when the table needs to accommodate more than one appetite.

There is one bar: the Pool Bar. It serves cocktails and snacks beside the outdoor pool, with a swim-up section for the moments when getting out of the water feels unnecessarily ambitious. Limited-hours room service is also available, so check the current service window if that is important to your routine.

The Main Pool is a large outdoor pool with a swim-up bar, sun loungers and umbrellas around it. It is the obvious place for a low-effort afternoon: swim a few lengths, claim a chair and let the day become less urgent. There is also a garden and a sun terrace, with pool, garden and mountain views depending on where you are sitting.

The sea is close enough for more than a look from the balcony. Snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding and boat excursions are available, and equipment rental is offered. Cycling and hiking provide alternatives on dry land, while cultural excursions can take you towards Corfu Old Town or Achilleion Palace.

Evenings can include live music and Greek nights. For families, babysitting and a children's menu are available, and the accommodation accepts children of any age. The beach, pool and outdoor spaces give you room to do very little, which is occasionally the most demanding activity after several days in the water.

Corfu International Airport is about 7 miles from the hotel by road. An airport transfer is available as a paid service, and car hire can be arranged. Free private parking is available on site without a reservation, making the address workable if you plan to explore beaches and Corfu's historical sights under your own steam.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Laundry and dry-cleaning services are available, while luggage storage, a concierge and a reception safe cover the useful bits around travel days. Visa, Mastercard and cash are accepted. Smoking is not allowed, pets are not accepted and parties or events are not permitted.

The hotel policy lists check-in from 14:00 and check-out until 12:00. Booking arrangements also require you to provide your expected arrival time in advance, with some accommodation terms using a 16:00 arrival time and a 10:00 departure time, so check the conditions attached to the room you choose. Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 09:00, and cots and extra beds are not available. Upper floors are accessible by stairs only.
