Katsiveli Beach is around 0.7 miles away on foot, with Kolitsani Beach roughly 1.4 miles away if you fancy a change of sand rather than another hour by the pool.

For a little history away from the water, the Archaeological Site of Skarkos is about 1.6 miles on foot. Homer's Tomb is around 6 miles away by road. The airport is around 45 minutes away by car, and the route from the port follows the main road and the signs to the hotel.

The choice is practical rather than theatrical. A Twin Room gives two divers separate single beds, while the Triple, Quadruple and Standard Family rooms make more sense when several people are sharing the island base. The Standard Family Room is the one to look at when a larger group needs to keep everyone under one roof. For solo travel, the Budget Single Room keeps the arrangement simple.

Every room has air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a fridge and a safe. That fridge earns its keep when you return hot, thirsty and no longer interested in warm water.
