The instructors are multilingual, speaking English, Italian, and German, which allows for clear communication and effective briefings. As an SSI centre, DiveVerse offers a comprehensive catalogue of training, starting with Try Scuba and progressing through to Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver. They provide a wide array of Specialty courses, such as Deep Diving, Full Face Mask, and Perfect Buoyancy, to help you tailor your diving profile.

For those looking to turn a passion into a career, the centre provides professional pathways including Divemaster, Open Water Instructor, and Assistant Instructor Trainer. They also host specialised ecology programmes, such as the Marine Mammals, Sharks, and Coral ID Ecology programmes, for divers interested in citizen science and marine biology.

The centre is fully equipped with on-site compressor facilities, providing both air and Nitrox. This allows for efficient gas blending and ensures that Nitrox is readily available for divers looking to extend their bottom time.

For those who prefer not to carry their own heavy kit, a full range of equipment is available for hire, including masks, snorkels, fins, and wetsuits. The centre maintains a strict maintenance programme to ensure all rental gear is in reliable working order.

The reefs around Quseir are teeming with life, from large pelagics to delicate reef inhabitants. You will frequently encounter species such as Napoleon wrasse, groupers, jacks, and various reef fish like damselfish and butterflyfish. Larger visitors including tuna, dolphins, and green sea turtles are also part of the local ecosystem.

For macro enthusiasts, the sites offer incredible opportunities to observe smaller, more specialised creatures. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs, shrimps, flatworms, and garden eels among the coral structures. The sandy areas and reef edges are also home to scorpionfish, stonefish, and various species of rays.

In the deeper sections and along the walls, you may spot more elusive inhabitants such as ghost pipefish, seamoths, and various species of moray eels. The presence of diverse coral formations provides the essential habitat for these creatures to thrive.

Most coastal sites in the area benefit from relatively calm conditions and weak currents, making them accessible for a wide range of experience levels. However, offshore sites like Elphinstone Reef are subject to much stronger currents and require advanced buoyancy control and air management.

While many of the bays provide sheltered environments, divers should always be prepared for changing conditions when moving toward the outer reefs. The ability to navigate different profiles, from shallow lagoons to steep walls, is a key part of the local diving experience.
