Into The Blue

Into The Blue is a PADI-affiliated dive centre situated in Sea Point, Cape Town. Positioned near the V&A Waterfront and major hotels, the centre is easily accessible via public transport, though they also offer pick-up and drop-off services throughout the Cape area for a more personal touch.

Macro life is abundant, particularly for those with a keen eye. Divers can find a wide variety of Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), sea anemones (Actiniaria), and various sponges (Porifera) decorating the reef. Starfish (Asteroidea) and brittle stars are also common sights on the seabed.

In the open water and around the reefs, you may encounter larger species such as bamboo sharks, pajama sharks, and seals. Depending on the season, you might see Puffadder dasybrakish sharks between October and May, or short-tailed stingrays during the same period.

The centre employs flexible dive planning, choosing sites based on the prevailing swell and local conditions. This ensures that the best possible environment is selected for the specific experience being offered, whether it is a shore dive or a boat trip.
