The kelp forests and reefs are home to an incredible array of life, including schools of fish, rays (Batoidea), and various invertebrates. You will frequently encounter octopus (Octopoda), crabs (Brachyura), and many species of crustaceans.

Macro life and smaller residents are abundant, from nudibranchs (Chromodoris willani) to sponges (Porifera) and sea anemones (Actiniaria). You can also find starfish (Asteroidea), brittle stars, and various molluscs, including cuttlefish (Sepiidae) and octopus (Octopoda).

In the open ocean, particularly from November to June, you can encounter Blue sharks (Prionace glauca) and shortfin mako sharks. Other large pelagics include yellowfin tuna, longfin tuna, amberjack (Seriola), dorado, bonitos, and the ocean sunfish (Mola mola). You may also spot whales, such as the humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) or the southern right whale, and dolphins like the common dolphin (Delphinus delphis).

The area is accessible for diving year-round, though specific excursions like the pelagic shark dives are best timed between November and June.

Visibility typically ranges from 5m to 15m in the kelp forests and reefs, though it can reach up to 50m during offshore pelagic trips.
