You can make this a properly barefoot stay. Kaw Kwang Beach is directly in front of the resort, the pool is close to the shore, and the Pool Bar is positioned to catch the sea breeze. There is enough here for a couple who want the beach, a meal and a drink within easy reach, while the island remains available when you fancy leaving the grounds.

Cafés sit around 1.5 km away, including Traditional Coffee and Richy Cafe and Bistro. Long Beach is around 5 km away, giving you another stretch of sand to explore when the resort’s own shoreline has had enough of you.

Krabi International Airport is about 45 miles away by road, with the transfer taking around 1 hour 28 minutes. That is island logistics rather than a quick hop, so arranging the airport shuttle with the resort makes sense if you would rather arrive with your luggage, rather than your patience, intact.

The choice is mainly about how much of the surroundings you want to bring into the room. Garden-view rooms and studios place you among the tropical planting, while the sea-view suites open the stay towards the coast. If the beach is the point of choosing this resort, the beachfront bungalow and beachfront suite are the obvious options; you are not booking a generic inland room and then hoping the water turns up later.

The Superior Double or Twin Room with Garden View is the practical couple’s choice, with a king-size bed, balcony, air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. The larger suites and family rooms give you more room to spread out, while family layouts add either bunk beds or a sofa bed. The published room capacity remains two across these categories, so the family label should not be treated as a licence to arrive with an entire junior football team.

Every room has a garden or sea view, and the useful post-dive details are in place: air conditioning for cooling down, a private bathroom with shower, a wardrobe, towels, toiletries and a hairdryer. A refrigerator and electric kettle help with cold water and a first cup of tea when you return tired, while a mosquito net is available for the tropical evenings. There is one caveat worth putting on the booking checklist. Renovation work affects the Deluxe Beachfront Bungalow, Sea View Suite and Family Sea View Suite between 20 May and 15 October 2026, with daytime noise possible from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. If your room choice falls into one of those categories, that detail matters more than the photograph of the sea.

Pinenapple is the resort’s restaurant and covers the full day, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Breakfast runs from 7:00 am to 10:00 am and is served in American and buffet style, which gives you a workable start before heading out rather than leaving you to negotiate the morning with a packet of biscuits.

After breakfast, the menu moves through Thai favourites and Western à la carte dishes. In high season, from November to April, a beachside barbecue adds fresh seafood and meats to the choice. The restaurant also has a selection of drinks, and special-diet menus can be requested.

There is one bar: the Pool Bar, close enough to the beach for the breeze to do some of the work. During high season it opens from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, serving fresh fruit shakes and signature cocktails, including the Mango Shake and TwinBay Mojito. A snack bar and on-site coffee house cover the less formal moments, while happy hour, themed dinners and live music are available as part of the resort’s activity programme.

The strongest activity here is the one requiring the least organisation: walk to the beach, claim a sun lounger or beach chair, and let the afternoon make its own arrangements. Sun umbrellas, beach and pool towels, a sun terrace, outdoor furniture and garden space give you several places to settle with a book or a drink. The resort also has an open-air bath and massages, useful options when your legs have had enough ambition for one day.

For something more active, table tennis is available on site, while bicycle hire, horse riding and cooking classes offer alternatives to staying horizontal. Snorkelling, diving and boat excursions are available as activities, with canoeing and fishing also offered away from the property. The distinction is worth noting: the resort is a base for arranging water activities, not a substitute for checking the day’s logistics with the relevant operator.

The cultural programme gives the stay a little more shape when the weather is good and the sea is not calling. Excursions include a Morning Sun Rise Gondola outing, Old Town shopping, Tie-dye Design at Lanta Batik and activities at Tong Yee Peng Southern Thai Village. You can also find local-culture tours, cooking classes, themed dinner nights and live performances. For families, there is a children’s pool and family accommodation, while the surrounding beach remains the uncomplicated shared activity.

Check-in starts at 2:00 pm and check-out runs until 11:00 am. The resort provides an airport shuttle from Krabi International Airport, which is around 45 miles away by road; arrange the transfer with the hotel before travelling. Car hire, a tour desk and public transport tickets are available for exploring beyond the beach, and a packed lunch can be arranged for days away from the restaurant.

Free parking is available nearby in a public location, with no reservation required. Luggage storage is available if your arrival and departure do not line up neatly with the room, and daily housekeeping keeps the practical side of a longer stay moving. Wi-Fi is free in the rooms and across the resort, although the published Wi-Fi rating suggests you may not want to plan your entire holiday around flawless connectivity.
