The Divers Boat - Koh Phangan

Located in the Chaloklum area of Koh Phangan, The Divers Boat provides a professional gateway to the region's most significant dive sites. This SSI-affiliated centre operates from its own stable and spacious vessel, ensuring a smooth transit to the reefs and wrecks that define this part of Thailand.

Since opening its doors in early 2024, the centre has focused on delivering high-standard diving through a small-group approach. Whether you are looking for your first breath underwater or advanced specialty training, the operation is designed to keep groups manageable and focused.

The instructor team brings a wealth of international experience to the table, with many having spent over 10 years diving in locations such as Egypt, the Philippines, and Indonesia. This global perspective ensures that the guidance you receive is grounded in diverse, real-world conditions.

Communication is never a barrier here, as the staff is multilingual. You can expect instruction in English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Hebrew, Russian, or Chinese.

Safety and attention are central to their training philosophy. For fun dives, the ratio is kept to a maximum of 4 divers per guide, while introductory dives and courses are limited to just 2 students per instructor.

The Divers Boat offers a comprehensive curriculum of SSI courses designed to take you from a novice to an advanced diver. You can begin with a Try Dive or work towards your Open Water Diver certification.

For those looking to refine their skills, the centre provides several Specialty Diver courses. These include Deep Specialty, Nitrox Specialty, and Rescue Diver Specialty, allowing you to tailor your training to your specific interests.

The centre operates its own private boat, specifically chosen for being spacious and stable. It has a capacity for up to 20 people, providing ample room for divers to prepare and relax between descents.

Nitrox is available on board to extend your bottom time. The boat departs from Chaloklum at 10:00, providing a dedicated platform for exploring the surrounding waters.

The centre provides a full range of rental kit, including regulators, BCDs, and wetsuits in sizes from XS to XXL. All equipment is new 2024 stock and undergoes daily maintenance to ensure reliability.

On-site, you will find all the necessary amenities for a smooth dive day, including snacks provided to keep you energized between excursions.

The reefs are home to a variety of larger marine life. You can regularly encounter turtles and various species of reef fish. During certain seasons, you may even have the chance to see a whale shark.
