Titan Blue Divers

Located in Puerto del Carmen on the island of Lanzarote, Titan Blue Divers provides access to some of the most distinctive underwater landscapes in the Canary Islands. The local seabed is defined by its volcanic origins, offering a complex topography of reefs, caves, and swim-throughs that differ significantly from standard coral reef environments.

The area is known for its clarity, with visibility reaching up to 40 metres in many conditions. Whether you are looking to explore local wrecks or navigate the volcanic structures, the site offers a diverse range of environments for both recreational and advanced diving.

The centre is run by Luis and Svetlana, a team of enthusiasts dedicated to providing a safe and personalised diving experience. They operate with a focus on small groups, ensuring that every diver receives individual attention and guidance throughout their session.

As a PADI affiliated centre, they offer a structured progression for students and professionals alike. Beyond the water, the team is also available to assist with exploring the wider island of Lanzarote.

Titan Blue Divers offers a complete range of PADI training programmes. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Open Water Diver course, while those looking to advance can progress through the Advanced Open Water, Deep Diver, and Nitrox certifications.

For divers pursuing a professional career, the centre provides instruction up to the level of Divemaster. They also offer the EFR + Rescue course to help divers build essential safety and assistance skills.

The centre’s facilities were inaugurated in 2021 and are equipped with a high-quality compressor to ensure reliable air supply. For those who prefer to dive with a longer bottom time, Nitrox is available on-site.

Full rental kit is provided for divers who do not wish to carry their own equipment. This includes recently serviced regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins, and cylinders, all of which are maintained to a high standard.

The volcanic reefs and rocky areas are home to a variety of larger species. You can regularly encounter Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda), Groupers (Epinephelus), and various species of Ray (Batoidea). The presence of Angelshark (Squatina) and other rays adds to the diversity of the local pelagics.

For those interested in macro life, the crevices and reef structures host a wealth of smaller organisms. Look out for Seahorse (Hippocampus kuda), various species of Shrimp (Caridea), and crabs. The area is also a place to find Octopuses (Octopus vulgaris) and different types of Nudibranchs.

In the open water, there is the potential to see larger pelagics such as dolphins, whales, and turtles. These sightings depend on the conditions, but the area is known for its rich biological activity, including sightings of Ocean sunfish and sharks.

Diving in Lanzarote is possible year-round, with the local environment offering stable conditions for exploration. The underwater landscape is shaped by volcanic activity, creating various habitats from shallow reefs to deeper structures.
